When one looks at the various video related features like 720p HD resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, it can be considered only for the purpose of viewing normal programs like news, weather and current affairs. Up for Review: Panasonic TC-L24C3 LCD TV. Panasonic previewed the model in January along with the TC-L24C3 as a part of its Viera C3 series. The manufacturer will be launching the product in summer 2011 with a VA Panel, as against the IPS Alpha Panel used in the 32-inch model. Some of the advanced features like built in Wi-Fi and wireless internet connectivity is also not included in the models previewed under the Viera C3 series. But some of the normal audio and video related features are just normal and can be found in most of the LCD models available in the market.

With a 720p HD resolution the model can be used for viewing normal programs like news and weather. Most of the programs and shows are being made with an original 1080p resolution and cannot be enjoyed on a TV set offering much lesser than the required resolution. Also, the feature looks normal in comparison to the existing LCD TVs released by various manufacturers. The 24-inch LCD screen also provides you with the option to buy it for keeping it at your office or as a back up TV set at your home. You can use it occasionally to view the news, current affairs and similar programs.

As it comes with a 60 Hz refresh rate, you cannot consider the model to keep it in your kids’ room. They will start complaining when their favorite sports and actions shows cannot be enjoyed in a desired manner. You will like the wide range of input options offered by the model. It comes with 1 PC and 2 HDMI input options for connecting multiple compatible digital devices like camcorder or Blu-ray player, and accessing your existing library of movies and music on a 32-inch LCD screen. It also allows you to access the videos and images recorded on your SD memory card on the TV screen through the SD card slot included in the set. But the lower refresh rate and resolution will not encourage you to access additional content on the LCD TV screen.

It also allows you to access online streaming content through the VIERA Link feature. But you have to use wire and cables to establish a wired connectivity to access internet. So it does not offer any new or efficient method to access online streaming content from a set of popular online networks. On the whole, the set is normal and can be purchased for the sole purpose of viewing normal programs at regular intervals.
