Samsung PN63B590T5 Review: 63” Plasma HDTV
Up for Review: Samsung PN63B590 Plasma TV. Perhaps the single most appealing feature of this HDTV is the 600 Hz sub-field motion technology with 0.001 ms response time. You can imagine the speed at which the pixels refresh themselves to lend a continuous look to the images as they fleet by in the fast action sequences. There is absolutely no blurring or any lagging behind of pixels. It gives a great feeling to play the video games without any trailing of images. You can witness this fast action in 1080p display resolution, and be really happy with your investment.
This huge display can be made a part of your home with audio effects producing a vibrant sound in the room. A 2 x15W sound effect can really set your pulses racing with the dialogues being clearly audible in every part of the room. The SRS TruSurround feature makes this possible by giving you the best sound even if you are sitting a bit away from the TV. This beautiful sound is aptly supplemented by the picture quality. The Samsung PN63B590 sports an unbelievable 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. This obviously points to excellent black levels. The blacks are the darkest possible with infinitely crisper whites.

The Touch of Color design is again back in the Samsung TVs with this particular model being tinged in gray. The outer panel is quite attractive and also includes an E panel with Ultra FilterBright Plus antiglare technology. This keeps the glare out and you can place it in any part of the room, irrespective of the light source. Though this HDTV is not as thin as some of the recent LED models, it still looks quite good on the walls. You have the option of allowing it to rest on a stand or be mounted on the walls. With very little depth, it looks like a huge wall painting.
The crystal full HD engine takes care of the clarity of the images when viewing content from Blu-ray disc players or other HD sources. The picture quality is further brought to life by the Wide Color Enhancer2. The picture quality is amply supported by the connectivity options. There are 4 HDMI connections with provisions to have Blu-ray disc players and gaming consoles as a part of the viewing options. The presence of a USB port also makes it possible to connect to a digital camera. But perhaps the size is the main attraction of the Samsung PN63B590T5. If you want a huge Plasma TV and can spare the money for it, then this model is just right for you.
