I purchased this tv in Oct. of 2010, the tv quit turning on with 7 blinking lights in Feb. 2011. Contacted customer support and a repair was set up with a local repair shop.
After 2 weeks I was contacted by the repair shop and was informed that the part to fix the tv was back ordered for 3-4 weeks. After many hours of investigation I found that Panasonic had knowingly continued to sell the Viera line of tv’s even though they where all manufactured with faulty power boards. I found testimony in the hundred’s claiming the same problem ranging from a week to a year before the defective part malfunctioned. On 3/2011 I was contacted by the repair shop requesting a copy of my purchase recipt to send to Panasonic claiming they are going to replace the tv now. I will let everyone know how this turns out. Overall I would say save your money and not buy Panasonic’s junk line of tv’s. Their selling practices are questionable at best and it would’nt suprise me to see a class action lawsuit filed by all the people Panasonic knowingly ripped off.
