Up for Review: Panasonic TC-P54G20 Plasma TV. Panasonic is one manufacturer which has always given something new to the plasma TV lovers. Panasonic TC-P54G20 is the bigger sized model in the G20 series. This 54 inches plasma glass display comes with the enhanced NeoPDP Infinite Black panel. This improved version that has a superior technology than last years, G10 series, provides higher quality images.
Along with the NeoPDP panel, Panasonic TC-P54G20 also brings in the THX technology certification. The THX certified display program ensures that the viewer gets the right color and images as shot by the film maker. This is something that is going to please the movie buffs as it aims to improve the cinema view experience in a multiplied manner. The brightness and color are accurate to the natural scenes and provide deeper black levels. The 600Hz Sub-field Drive feature with the 1080p resolution, provides crisper and clearer moving pictures. Using its unique image analysis technology, Panasonic provides high clarity and details that add to the overall effect while reducing the after effects considerably.

The Viera image viewer and Video call capability come in pretty handy. Not only that one can view his digital photo album but can connect to the internet and communicate to others through both video and voice calls. The Viera link feature makes home-networking pretty easy. Be it your camera, memory card, gaming console or DVD player, you can easily connect to other HDMI capable gadgets.
Talking about its aesthetics, Panasonic TC-P54G20 is not very spectacular like some of the latest models and still continues with its traditional approach. Bringing in Skype in its Viera cast feature list, this model also make communication fun and easy. One has to buy an optional camera that is not included in the original TV kit. And for the internet features, one has to get Wireless LAN Adaptor separately. Also the Netflix facility is expected to be available for viewers from June end this year. Not only this, one can also access YouTube videos and even view a Picasa web album. You also get the Pandora internet radio when you want to switch on to the listening mode only.
