Panasonic TC-P42S1 Review: 42” Plasma HDTV

The panel is a proof of advances in new drive technology, process technology and cell structure. And as an addition, these panels save a lot of power without weakening the contrast. The screen is thin and has a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. This means that half the brightness is lost after almost 30 years of viewing.

The Panasonic TC-P42S1 delivers full 1080p resolution. Most of the HDTVs advertise 1080p resolution but actually their resolution is at times far below this. But this HDTV offers 1080p resolution even during action scenes and high-activity sports sequences.

The VIERA Image Viewer lets you share your photos with family and friends through the Panasonic TC-P42S1. A review shows that there is an SD card slot which allows you to view your photos from the camera on the screen of the HDTV. Along with this feature is the VIERA Link feature which will enable you to synchronize your DVD recorder, HD camcorder, home theatre sound system and Blu-ray disc player with a single remote. The Panasonic TC-P42S1 provides interactive menus to navigate through these systems.
