LG 60PS80 Review: 60” 1080p Plasma TV

Up for review: LG 60PS80 Plasma HDTV.  The huge LG 60PS80 plasma TV is the top of the line Plasma from LG’s 2009 line-up. Reviews of the HDTV’s new features show that they are competing with high-end brands and releasing never before seen features. The first new addition to the LG 60PS80 is NetCast which is used to stream high-definition data from the internet. NetCast is compatible with NetFlix, YouTube and Yahoo! Widgets. THX Media Director is another innovative feature used in the HDTV which automatically adjusts audio and video settings to provide a great viewing experience.

The front panel is smooth with no controls on it. The 60” display is surrounded by a glossy, black outline supported on a delicately carved stand. It is very thin and has all its ports on the side for easy access. The controls too are embedded on the other side. However, the remote is simple to use and covers everything so you shouldn’t have to use the controls on the TV.
