I got this TV for $599.00 and what a value for the money. It has all the bells and whistles of an expensive TV. The Picture Wizzard helps calibrate the picture which I find hard to do on these new TVs. The sound by Dolby can be brought up to a good base which is important to me. There are so many picture settings you have to find what kind of picture you like. The only problem was the glare so I had to re-arrange my living room to get it away from facing the bay window. I connected a budget RCA Home Theater system to it and we`re at the movies. Also LG has a two year screen warranty which I didn`t see on the others, and a clear voice feature so you can desern the voices from the background noise better. Great value !!!

i traded up from my LG 47" LCD, which i had no problems with , was just rent to own and wasnt gunna pay another 900 to own it when i already been renting it a year, so i got this for 679, i am dissapointed as the reviews state how good this is and i dont see it, my PC looks like im picking it up by antenna and my ps3, xbox360 and my pc all have HORRIBLE motion blur, soon as i move in one of my video games everything gets motion blur, and the pc i can barely read the writing on the screen, i hope im typing all this write cause its pretty hard to proof read. My cable looks fine, havent noticed any motion blur watching tv, but i spend at best 1/4 of my time watching tv, i usually game. and i can actually see the pixels on the sceen even at a couple feet away, which is why i can barely read when on my pc. i would say look at some other tvs and make sure the tv u want performs the way u want, i may be returning this and trying someother tv, probly back to LCD. cause this 600 hz doesnt seem to work nearly as good as my old lcd at the norm 60 hz.

So glad I didnt spend the extra 350 on the 1080p. There is no neee with this tv. Could this picture be better? Yes. But only by about 10%. Seriously! My cable company only broadcast about 20 channels in hd anyway. If your thinking of buying a big tv this is a great one. About to go watch clash of the titans:-)
