The Panasonic PT-56LCZ70 has some interesting new features and a few negative points. It has a standard black casing with rather thick borders on the top and sides in comparison to some other types of TV’s. As far as design though, the remote that it comes with is good. The layout is comfortable and easy to use, very similar to the previous year’s model.
The PT-56LCZ70 has some nice features. It has the highest resolution available of any HDTV. The large screen size of the HDTV makes the benefits of having a high resolution apparent. Another nice commitment from Panasonic is that they guarantee the bulb life in the LIFI technology for five years.

This Panasonic PT-56LCZ70 is a good quality rear projection HDTV even though the price is pretty high as well. Even though it has some nice features, color probably was not as good as it could have been. The black was not as dark as it needed to be. Also, there have been reports that you can see faint bands going across the screen horizontally on a primarily solid color background. For example, in an extremely dark scene where the screen is primarily black, you can see faint lines; this can be annoying at times. Overall though, a review of the Panasonic PT56LCZ70 shows it is a possible HDTV choice if you have the money for a TV that is priced between $1,400.00 and $1,999.99.
