Vizio XVT323SV Review: 32” LED LCD HDTV
Up for Review: Vizio XVT323SV LED LCD TV. As you view the Vizio models from the high end 55-inch models and travel downwards, you are bound to notice subtle changes in the features of the sets. However, Vizio has been quite generous with this set and even though it is not a big TV, it has all the features which will make it a hot favorite among people having smaller homes. You can also buy this 32-inch model for your office room or your kid’s room. Basically, this TV can fit into any small space or even be seated on a desk. The resolution is still 1080p which makes the picture quality quite excellent. With LED technology, you get to see razor-sharp images on the screen.
Since this TV uses LED back lit technology, it has many zones which light up and darken as per requirement. It uses Smart Dimming and thus provides better images with more brightness at the right areas. And even though it is back lit, its depth is only 2” which makes it good enough to be hung on the walls. The set has a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 which says a lot about the black levels. It can be safely assumed that you will be able to view darker blacks and purer whites than ever before. You will also be able to differentiate between the different levels of darkness.

Vizio has chosen to make this set favorable for the Internet addicted. With the inclusion of Internet Apps, it makes it possible for you to access certain popular sites like Rhapsody and Amazon Video on Demand. Yahoo widgets are also supported on this set. You will be able to get the best of music and videos along with movies on these sites. Some social networking sites will also be included. There is a built-in WiFi which helps you to access the Internet. The Bluetooth remote is also a unique one which has a QWERTY keyboard to help in navigation.
This model gives you good sound quality too. The SRS TruSurround sound simulates a feeling of being surrounded by speakers on all sides. This helps you to clearly hear the voices and music even when you are not seated directly in front of the TV. The SRS TruVolume helps you hear the sound at one particular level only. You have to adjust the sound once and then the TV adjusts the sound to that level even when you change channels or when the ads come on. This is a good set to have for your kid as there are 4 HDMI which will help him play games by connecting to a gaming console and also view his favorite cartoon movies on the Blu-ray disc player. For a price of $929.99 MSRP, it is worth a buy.

This TV’s sound sucks! I cannot believe this reviewer has good things to say about it. It’s tinny and horrible. You have to be kidding.
Have read many reviews on Vizio (and other labels) HDTVs and the negative reviews almost always focus on “tinny and horrible” sound.
Guys, if you want high quality sound get a Home Theater and hook up to your cable or satellite box – no TV ever has or ever could rise above the “tinny and horrible” level.
