Same story for my 52" Vizio TV. Bought Nov. 2007 and just noticed a vertical blue line offset just to the right of dead center on the screen. I have seen suggestions to tap on it and it might go away but no luck. It is most noticeable against a dark background. Obviously Vizio has a flaw that is starting to manifest itself and for them to tell people to just buy a new one is BS. I won't buy another one and will let everyone I know to stay away.

We bought a 35" Vizio from Walmart in August 2009 - today a blue line appeared down the middle of the screen. Of course the warranty has expired so Vizio will do nothing. We paid alot of money for this thing to last a year.

Bought our 42" Vizio from Walmart. First 18 months were perfect, we loved our flat screen. One night the screen went blank but the sound stayed on. We tried different channels etc attempting to isolate the problem. When we decided to shut it off, it wouldn't unless it was unplugged from the wall. Vizio technical support said"sounds like you need a new set". The part will be more expensive than purchasing a new one. I called two different days, talked to two different people, got two different answers to my root problem, but the same conclusion, Buy a new one. Sorry Boy's it woesn't work that way. I'll never buy Vizio again or recommend them to anyone.

i bought my tv from walmart. it was amazing for the first 6ish months.. then a lovely black line of pixals fixated itself smack in the middle of my screen. ive been round and round with vizio talking to several techs. its a different story every time. i think their service dept. needs help. i am tired of the round and round. im now supposed to send them pictures.. how i will get good pictures of a 1 pixal wide line i have no flippin idea.... *sighs* i would never buy another one due to their poor customer service. i dislike being jerked around.

I bought this TV from Walmart about 6 months ago. It is a nice TV, but last week this odd white line appeared down the front of the screen. I called Vizio and they requested photos of the line. After receiving the photos, they determined the problem couldn't be fixed. They arranged for a "refurbished" (eg, used, broken then fixed) TV to replace my old one. Walmart wont take it back after 90 days. That is absolute bullshit! I paid almost 1000 dollars for this TV and Vizio wants send me a "refurbished" one that probably has problems worse than the current TV's! I will never buy another Vizio product and will encourage my friends and family not to either!

I bought this TV at Walmart for $870 tax and all. I absolutely LOVE it. I can find nothing negative about it. It has an awesome picture and the surround sound is very cool. My XBOX 360 is unbelieveable on this TV. I highly recommend this TV!!
