I bought this TV at Walmart for $870 tax and all. I absolutely LOVE it. I can find nothing negative about it. It has an awesome picture and the surround sound is very cool. My XBOX 360 is unbelieveable on this TV. I highly recommend this TV!!

I bought this TV from Walmart about 6 months ago. It is a nice TV, but last week this odd white line appeared down the front of the screen. I called Vizio and they requested photos of the line. After receiving the photos, they determined the problem couldn’t be fixed. They arranged for a “refurbished” (eg, used, broken then fixed) TV to replace my old one. Walmart wont take it back after 90 days. That is absolute bullshit! I paid almost 1000 dollars for this TV and Vizio wants send me a “refurbished” one that probably has problems worse than the current TV’s! I will never buy another Vizio product and will encourage my friends and family not to either!

i bought my tv from walmart. it was amazing for the first 6ish months.. then a lovely black line of pixals fixated itself smack in the middle of my screen. ive been round and round with vizio talking to several techs. its a different story every time. i think their service dept. needs help. i am tired of the round and round. im now supposed to send them pictures.. how i will get good pictures of a 1 pixal wide line i have no flippin idea…. *sighs* i would never buy another one due to their poor customer service. i dislike being jerked around.

Bought our 42″ Vizio from Walmart. First 18 months were perfect, we loved our flat screen. One night the screen went blank but the sound stayed on. We tried different channels etc attempting to isolate the problem. When we decided to shut it off, it wouldn’t unless it was unplugged from the wall. Vizio technical support said”sounds like you need a new set”. The part will be more expensive than purchasing a new one. I called two different days, talked to two different people, got two different answers to my root problem, but the same conclusion, Buy a new one. Sorry Boy’s it woesn’t work that way. I’ll never buy Vizio again or recommend them to anyone.

We bought a 35″ Vizio from Walmart in August 2009 – today a blue line appeared down the middle of the screen. Of course the warranty has expired so Vizio will do nothing. We paid alot of money for this thing to last a year.

Same story for my 52″ Vizio TV. Bought Nov. 2007 and just noticed a vertical blue line offset just to the right of dead center on the screen. I have seen suggestions to tap on it and it might go away but no luck. It is most noticeable against a dark background. Obviously Vizio has a flaw that is starting to manifest itself and for them to tell people to just buy a new one is BS. I won’t buy another one and will let everyone I know to stay away.

Bought 42″ from Walmart, worked fine for first 6 months Then we would turn it on and get sound, no picture. Called Vizio, no real help. I documentd everything. We made 8 calls to tech support, Finally after 3 months, they finally sent a tech that replaced almost everything. Still had same problem. Sent a refurbished one to replace it. We have had it for 4 month. Now it is out of warranty and this TV is doing the same exact thing. I will never buy another Vizio Their tech support is rude and sounds like they work from home. They also put you on hold forever trying to troubleshoot. Very bad experience.

Purchased a 42″ FHDLCD from Walmart in June 2008. Two weeks ago the set was working fine, next morning no sound no picture. Called the customer service line (we purchased the extended warranty) and they stated that a tech would be at our house in 3 days. It’s been two weeks and numerous calls to the customer service center, they contradict each other! Very frustrated and pissed off at the customer service center and Vizio in general. One shells out $1100.00 for tv and then goes go shite, don’t think so. Stay away from this line. Pay more for recognized name brand, works out in the long run!!!!

We bought our vizio less than 2 years ago. It has gone out on us twice in the last 4 months. Their tech support is completely useless. I will never buy another vizio product. Their products are expensive, and their service is low-class.

I am surprised to find so many Vizio customers with a colored line down the middle of the screen. Exactly 2 years after purchase (and 1 year out of waranty) – our 42″ Vizio has a blue line down the middle. Very annoying. I hope these compalints are well-documented thus stopping people from buying this brand.

Have a 47″ Vizio and guess what a blue line. Luckily, if I should even say that, its only about an inch and a half away from the right side. Mine actually lasted 3 years and one month. One “bleeping” month past my extended warranty that I had bought from Sam’s Club, AHHHH!
