Junk Junk Junk.... I bought mine from Dell also. The problem is that they treat TV's as disposable items today. Vizio takes advantage of this more than anyone else. Big market advertising on ESPN, sell in big stores like Wal Mart and reap the benefits of selling overpriced shit. Mine had the black screen of death at just year. Funny, thats when the warranty runs out and Vizio runs away from you as consumer when you call tech support. Can you say class action suit.....I found over 175,000 other people that have had the same problem.

Ed, sorry about your horror with this tv. I bought my TV February 2010. I also bought my tv on line from Dell. I read other reviews about sound problems. I suppose those folks listened to the tv in the store while connect to a BOSE sound system. Except for a bit of lost sound, I have had nothing but great service with this tv. I would recommend purchasing the Vizio VT470M 1080p. For the price, it is a great buy.

I bought this tv from Dell, and within 24 hours, the picture went black. 3 long weeks later, I received my replacement from Vizio. Within 1 hour, the screen died. Now I am waiting for my next replacement. The service guy said they would give me a model with a better reputation. If I could get my money back and spend it on a different brand I would. Spent a grand on this tv, and a month later, I have nothing but horror stories and about 3 hours of viewing time, along with a useless hunk of plastic hanging on the wall.
