Just bought this set six days ago. I have a Dish Network satellite system and they came and installed a new HD dish and HD receiver and I have added a Blu-ray dvd player. The first thing we watched on the set was Disney’s Blu-ray “Earth” movie. Wow! My wife complained that it was too realistic. She wanted to reach out and pet the baby elephant. We get a slew of HD channels from Dish Network and they are all very good. I watched college and pro football on Saturday and Sunday and it was mind boggling. The thing I didn’t expect to get was the clarity of the sound. I felt as if I was standing next to the QB as he was calling out signals. I would have liked a larger set, but this was the biggest I could find that would fit into our home entertainment center. I originally had my heart set on a Samsung 37, 1080P, but this was a much better deal, $200. less. Besides my old eyes couldn’t ascertain the difference between the two. Vizio — go for it!
