This New Year, the electronic manufacture has unveiled its seven new EcoHD(TM) line of LCD HDTV’s. This 32” VO320E is one of those EcoHD(TM) LCD TV’s. Always known for bringing something new, this time VIZIO has highlighted on bringing environment friendly LCD TV’s to the masses. VIZIO claims that the new VO320E LCD TV model can exceed the Energy Star 3.0 requirements by as much as 25%.

Not only this, new VIZIO VO320E RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant which means the six hazardous materials generally found in electronic products are not used here.

The VIZIO VO320E is embedded with 1366 x 768 pixels natural resolution is likely to produce standard image output. The LCD TV supports 720p content. A new Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio with a range of 50,000:1 has been introduced in the VIZIO VO320E which is expected to produce better contrast color. And the 60 Hz is to take care of any possible motion blur during high action sequences. A wide 32″ screen is sure to enhance the LCD viewing experience even from offside.

Reasonably priced at around $449.99, the new LCD TV is expected to be available in market by summer 2009.

The 2 HDMI inputs and an additional game port of the VIZIO VO320E will sure take care of connectivity issues with external video and audio devices. Starting from standard DVD player to Blu-ray player and different MPG audio files, the 2 HDMI inputs are sufficient to get connected. The LCD vendor group has incorporated SRS’s latest technological features to improvise the built-in speakers of the new VO320E model. Embedded with SRS TruSurround HD(TM) technology, the new VIZIO VO320E is likely to optimize the low frequency for bringing crisp and intelligible audio output.

The compact black bezel design of the VIZIO VO320E gives it a stylish and high-tech look. And the 32 inch LCD is most likely to be fitted in small as well as medium sized rooms. This model is expected to create a buzz in the market for its energy-saving as well as price-saving aspects.

Based on the specs, this eco-friendly HDTV should be sufficient for most viewers. The most notable features missing are 1080p resolution (which has little effect on a 32-inch screen) and a high refresh rate. Some LCD TV’s are up to 240hz. However, the real attraction of this TV is the positive effect you are having on the environment compared to some brands and their energy hogs.

YouReviewElectronics.com gives VIZIO VO320E 8/10 stars!

I just purchase my Vizio VO320E at Wal-Mart on 6/27/09. I have been looking at LCD HDTV’s for a few months. Prices for 32″ 720P tvs range from $499 to $899 in the Rochester, NY area. Wal-mart had this one on sale for $398 and they practically flew off the shelves! I was lucky enough to get one and so far, I am happy with it. It has a “hidden feature” – look closely in the audio menu and you will find an equalizer! You have to turn off the “SRS TSHD” in order to enable the Equalizer – and when you do – WOW, the sound is awesome! The picture quality is very good for a tv at this price, so I would highly recommend this tv, especially if you can buy it for under $400 !!!!!!!
