Vizio VO22LF Review: 22” 1080p LCD HDTV
Up for review: Vizio VO22LF. The VO22LF is the new entry level LCD from Vizio. This TV stands apart from other small TV’s with some features usually only found on larger LCD TV’s. Perfect for kitchen, dorms and other small rooms, it can be mounted on walls or placed on a stand in any part of the room.
A full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p and deep blacks and vivid colors make the Vizio VO22LF a great bargain. The images are very natural and crystal clear. A 5000:1 contrast ratio has a lot to do with this. 16.7 million colors can be displayed by this LCD. High definition television programming can be perceived including satellite, gaming, cable and DVD content.
Lighting is not a problem with VO22LF. The images are clearly visible in a brilliant as well as in a dimly lit room. There is very little reflection and glare from the LCD. A 5 ms response time is well suited to maximize clarity in fast action flicks. The VO22LF offers HD NTSC/QAM/ATSC digital tuner including 1080p and 720p to be used as a HDTV. This LCD can also serve as a computer monitor.

The VO22LF is designed according to the “VO-series” format which promises to be quite stylish and sleek. A 178 degree viewing angle allows the viewer to sit in any part of the room and still enjoy the crisp and clear images. The only disadvantage in this LCD is the stand. An adjustable stand would have provided greater flexibility. However, ease of use, beautiful design, spectacular features and an agreeable price make the VO22LF a great option for a smaller, budget brand HDTV.

Got this movie a couple of weeks back. Quality is good. Problem is, after watching a DVD movie on HDMI, and cutting back to TV, sometimes the TV won’t show pictures, only sound!!!!! Vizio quality needs work to match Sony……
