Up for review: Vizio VECO320L. Vizio is preparing to release a new HDTV model, the VECO320L. Images portray the HDTV in a complete satiny-white case. Apart from the looks, the HDTV is packed with good features. This time the emphasis is on energy consumption. Vizio has tried to cut down on the energy consumption keeping in mind the Energy Star approval. It has named this HDTV, the “green” one. This HDTV is ecologically friendly too.
The new green Vizio VECO320L utilizes 44% less power than most HDTV’s in its class. Pure HDTV entertainment can be attained with only 84 watts of energy. Resolution is 720p which means accurate pictures with vivid colors. It offers more than 16 million colors which can enhance the picture quality and the different shades of each color more profoundly.
2 HDMI connections are provided. These can be connected to a cable box, gaming consoles, DVD players and a host of other electronic equipment as the need be. Compatibility is a major factor. All these items must be compatible with each other to give the best output.

The Vizio VECO320L comes with a user manual, a quick start guide, a remote control and a power cord. The HDTV can be upgraded by using an HDMI cable. Certified cables and mounts are also available which can be used with this HDTV. It can be either mounted on the wall or placed on a stand. However, like most Vizio HDTV’s, this too lacks the PIP feature and an USB port.
Priced at $499.99 MSRP, this HDTV is a pretty good bargain at its size. However, it’s main attraction is for the eco-friendly, “green” people.

Time to go green. My husband got my son a Vizio 32 inch for his birthday and he loves it. Checked out Vizio’s page and stumbled across this Eco Tv. Love that it’s eco-friendly and a bright color. Ordered mine a couple of days ago and can’t wait to get it.
Great TV at an incredible price ($428 @ SAM’s Club. Crisp image, one of the best designed remote controls and great looks. Plenty of connection options and great sound for a 32″ HDTV. Only disadvantage is the inability to save a list of favorite channels.
