VIZIO VA320E Review – 32″ LCD TV
Up for review: Vizio VA320E. The new VA320E is one of VIZIO’s EcoHD lines of LCD TV’s where energy efficient technology is incorporated to reduce power consumption. The 32-inch LCD TV is likely to exceed the Energy Star 3.0 requirement standard by 25%. The model is also RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant which means no hazardous materials generally found in electrical products are used in this LCD TV.
With 1366 x 768 pixels natural resolution, the new VA320E LCD TV is capable of displaying 720p HD content. This LCD model also has VIZIO’s Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio(TM) of 50,000:1 which is sure to deliver better image quality at par with the best plasma displays. The 60 Hz refresh rate is likely to offer the standard image output minus motion blur. The lack of high end features such as LED backlight and local dimming technologies might be a bit discouraging but with a price of around $449.99, this new VA320E LCD TV seems to be a good bargain.

Wrapped in a black piano bezel, the stylish outlook of this new VA320E can fit suitably to any type of medium to large sized rooms. The 32” wide screen offers the best view even from offside angle. The picture quality might be standard, but the new VIZIO VA320E is embedded with SRS lab’s latest SRS TruSurround HD including the TruSurround XT audio technology. Hence crisp and scintillating audio output containing the bass and surround sound can be experienced. Even low frequency is likely to be optimized to produce intelligible audio quality.
With 2 HDMI Inputs and 1 game port, connectivity seems to be good in the new VIZIO VA320E LCD TV. A USB port would have been definitely an added advantage. Expected to arrive in market around summer 2009, the new VIZIO VA320E is sure going to be ideal for those who are looking for energy saving.
