Right on JV…I have the same problem…sitting low, the screen is all blurry and dark. When i move closer and look at eye level or above, it is fine. So I am putting it back in the box and returning to walmart. Not worth the $$$ and the speakers are terrible as well.

Wow, I had it a whole two days LOL

at first I thought it was my eyes and almost made an appointment with the eye doctor.

this is the best tv i have ever bought. it was a great selection. it can go anywhere in the house i put it on the roof so i can watch tv outside it makes it more fun to do yard work

You need to look at this TV at eye level or a bit from the side to see a clear screen. If you are below it, the viewing of the screen is dark and unacceptable and you will be unhappy.

unless you can provide an HDMI or component input you will not get HDTV, you will get 480SD. My top of the line Dish HD 722 receiver is in the next room driving my 50″ Panasonic. Coax provides the signal to the kitchen. The manual says HDMI or coax are the best for HD but in the quick start info it says you can only expect 480SD with coax. Got it today and it’s going back to Costco tomorrow.

Got one for my wife for the kitchen. I use it morethan she does! It makes a great addition and it looks sleek.
