Vizio M370NV Review: 37” LED LCD HDTV

Up for Review: Vizio M370NV LED LCD TV. Although the 3D and Internet access features attracted the elite consumers, it is the regular LED TVs which enjoy a larger share of the market. Realizing this fully, Vizio has made all efforts to introduce standard HDTVs which focus on great picture quality and in providing fun-filled entertainment through the varied TV channels. You also get to watch the movies and play games by connecting to high definition devices on the TV. With a glossy black outer design and slim body, the TV looks good when it takes the central location in your room. This 37-inch TV is of the optimum size which can be the first choice for your living room or even as a second option for your kid’s room.

LED backlighting is able to make the TV very slim and also improves the energy conservation in the set. Vizio has not compromised with the resolution and has maintained it as 1080p. This makes the pictures very sharp and focused. You are able to enjoy the true effects of the images when you watch movies in 1080p and play intriguing games on the TV. It may have marginally escalated the price but the visual effect is worth the money. The dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1 adds to the visual clarity of the pictures by darkening the blacks and producing pure whites. There are also 16.7 million colors which make every single shade come alive.

Vizio M370NV Features and Specifications Review:

  • 37-inch screen
  • LED backlighting LCD
  • 60Hz refresh rates
  • TruSurround HD and TruVolume
  • Slim design
  • Energy Star 4.0 compliant
  • 3 HDMI

The refresh rate of 60 Hz is alright for the regular scenes but the action scenes may appear to blur a little. The trailing of images might not be very noticeable in scenes where the protagonist is seen conversing with his best friend by the beach but it will certainly come to notice when he encounters the villain and a car race ensues. The images will turn hazy and blurred. A slight problem regarding this may be perceptible at times in this TV. However, this set has a very good viewing angle of 178 degrees which can allow you to take any seat in the room and still get a good view. The images are not washed out at the edges.

Vizio has put a lot of emphasis on providing good audio for its viewers. This set has TruSurround HD and TruVolume features which provide the effects of a home theater system. You feel surrounded by speakers on all sides which helps you hear the sound clearly even when you are not sitting near the TV. There are many inputs in the TV including 3 HDMI. You can connect Blu-ray disc player, camcorder and gaming console to the TV and have fun. Energy conservation is also great and you can save a lot on electricity bills. It can be a good experience if you purchase this TV.

YouReviewElectronics.com gives Vizio M370NV 4/5 stars!

Simply put I love it. Very vibrant and crisp color and I can not believe the sound it makes. Nice touches on its appearance with the high gloss tv and remote. Only con I have is when the picture moves at high speeds there is a slight blur. To be honest however it goes fairly unnoticed. For the price it’s a gem. I purchased mine at Costco for $520 (was $600 with $80 in store instant cash back) Overall get it it’s well worth it.

Bought this last night at Sam’s. Came home set it up to watch Cowboys and Redskins. Horrible picture. Picture quality and adjustments for screen mode make this TV seem like a toy compared to my fairly new LG.
