Vizio continues its line of value priced flat panels with the GV47LF (GV47LFHDTV) 47 inch LCD HDTV. This relatively new brand is known for its lesser priced LCD and Plasma TV’s that are available at discount retailers like Wal-Mart and Costco. The G47LFHDTV includes some of the most popular features and may be one of the cheapest 1080p LCD TV’s of its size available. This LCD HDTV has a decent picture and a very attractive looking exterior. It features a black surround with a silver base with bottom mounted speakers. Bottom mounted speakers are typically more desirable than side-mount speakers since most TV’s are already considerably wider than they are tall.

If you’re looking for a full HD 1080p LCD TV, the GV47LF is definitely an option to consider. 1080p resolution isn’t always that noticeable on a TV of this size so you may want consider a 720p LCD or Plasma with a better picture quality for around the same price. The Vizio GV47LFHDTV overall has a good enough picture but it doesn’t compete with higher quality LCD and Plasma manufacturers. However, if you’re looking to save a few bucks and still have the highest resolution LCD TV around, this may be the one for you.
