same story as others; paid $799 for this TV & after talking to technical support realized it's the speakers or the sound card that needs repair. Cost to repair almost as much as a new TV w/a 180 day warranty. I think VZIO has a lot of rotten lemons. We too purchased another one before we realized why people said to stay away from VZIO's. We have Sony TV's older than our son still working; I think I'll stick with the brand I know works when replacing this TV. Good-BY VIZIO; once people catch on your name will not be worth much.

I purchased a Vizio 37" and almost 2 years to the day it died. I am not even going to bother trying to get a repair. I just purchased another about 3 months ago and now I am sorry I did. I will never buy another nor will I recommend Vizio again.

We purchased a Vizio 37 inch LCD tv at Walmart. It worked fine until the warranty ran out and then it died. The tv repairman said it couldn't be fixed and there you go. $800 dollars for a tv that lasted only 2 years. I will not buy another Vizio Tv. ever.

I purchase three Viso 37 inch TV last March. I was happy with them until one died. Getting service was not any great hassell until I sent in proof of purchase having driven 200 miles . Now the story gets interesting just before send out a repair service The expert in charge decided my proof of purchase was no good.
Why ?Sam's for some reason did not print their name at the top of the recieipt. Here is the really good part. VISO using the serial number knew where the TV was purchased and the rec. had my membership number. But no, knowing is not the same as having the name printed. The genius refused to write it down.
I suppose they Viso is saving money by delaying my serice but they have assured them selves that I will never purchase another cheap TV.(I used TVs in my business and in both my homes. I wonder when the next one will go out-just after the warrenty......

We have a 37-inch Visio flat screen and have just been advised by our cable provider that we are not able to get any HDchannels because the Visio does not have the provision in it to bring in these channels. Imagine our surprise at learning that; we purchased that particular TV so that we would get HD and now we can't. Believe me, we will warn anybody else about this that may be contemplating purchasing a Visio and tell them to reconsider to another TV brand.

I pruchased the Vizio VW37L HDTV with ATSC Tuner and HDMI as a replacement monitor for my computer. I am currently using a NVidia 7600GS 512mb HD Video card and This LCD TV Is absolutely amazing. Have not experienced any issues with High demanding Grafix games I would definitely recommend this TV to any gamers out there The Picture quality is amazing And the TV also has its own GAMING setting to make textures aper even sharper. Great product.
