Viore LC37VF55 Review: 37” LCD HDTV
Up for Review: Viore LC37VF55 LCD TV. Trying to keep up with the competition, Viore has launched models in the bigger display segment. This 37” model is modeled along the sleek looks of most modern HDTVs. It has a black finish with a fairly slim bezel. The display narrows down into a sturdy stand which is capable of providing support to the 37-inch display. The speakers are located at the base of the display and provide good audio support. The sound is fairly good and can be heard clearly in large rooms. You can hear the dialogues and music clearly no matter where you sit.
According to a review, the Viore LC37VF55 has 1080p display resolution which is the best that one can get. It helps to view high definition video on the TV screen. The output from Blu-ray disc players, camcorders and gaming devices can be easily accessed from the HDTV. Since most of the programs on TV are telecast in 720p, the output will obviously be very good on the 1080p display. An aspect ratio of 16:9 provides further support to the good picture quality.

The ATSC tuner makes sure that you can watch the high definition programs without a hitch. You may connect a separate set top box if you want to access encrypted channels. All the free channels will not require a set top box. As far as the picture quality is concerned, the Viore LC37VF55 has a contrast ratio of 1500:1. This is very good for improved black levels. But it is nowhere in comparison to the extremely high contrast ratios provided by the leading brands of today.
A viewing angle of 176 degrees is also decent enough to view the TV from extreme angles. You can sit in any part of the room and still get a good view. However, there is a faint washing out of colors if watched from the edges. Connectivity is good with 2 HDMI connections. You can watch high definition devices with the help of these connections. There are also composite and component video inputs. The VGA input allows the TV to be used as a computer monitor. This HDTV is a basic one with no pretences of providing any exclusive features. It will make a good addition to the house if you want a good HDTV for a lesser price.
