Up for review: Toshiba 26AV502U. Equipped with the Toshiba’s latest Dynalight technology, the new Toshiba 26AV502U is a great option as an addition to your bedroom or office with its mid-size range. This advance technology monitors the brightness level of each video frame to produce gorgeous and detailed HD color reproduction.
With a 26” screen size, the Toshiba 26AV502U produces one of the most vibrant and detailed high definition picture quality without any imposing proportions of larger HD displays. Although this LCD model doesn’t support Full HD 1080p resolution, but the 720p HD CineSpeed™ resolution display with 8ms or faster response speed produces stunning high-action home theater images.
The best thing is, with a price of around $499.99, the Toshiba 26AV502U is a great budget buy but doesn’t comprome on quality. Additionally, this LCD TV is ENERGY STAR Qualified.

This advanced image processing technique creates seamless transitions with deeper blacks carrying detailed image quality. Similarly for smooth transfer of motion pictures to a digital format such as DVD, the 26AV502U has 3:2 pulldown features which reduce any transitional artifacts. To restore the picture size from unnecessary over scanning, this HDTV is equipped with Native Mode™ technology.
For high definition connectivity, the Toshiba 26AV502U is adorned with Dual HDMI inputs. The single PC input converts your HDTV into a computer monitor as per your need. You can even enjoy clear digital tuning over-the-Air digital content, through the ATSC / QAM Digital Tuner.
The only issue with the Toshiba 26AV502U reported in reviews is the single rear connector location. Additional rear and side inputs would give you better connectivity options. However this is only a small concern compared to the many great features of the Toshiba 26AV502U.
