Toshiba 22AV600U Review: 22” LCD HDTV

It takes into account the brightness of every video frame and makes use of advanced image processing to monitor the backlight intensity. This gives the deepest blacks enhancing the smallest of details in every frame.

The white balance is maintained by the color temperature control. There are three color temperature settings: warm, medium and cool. The “warm” setting is ideal for dimly-lit rooms. It sets the color temperature at 6500 degrees Kelvin, giving a redder image. The transition from “medium” to “cool” shifts the images towards the bluer side. The room lights are enhanced for this temperature. Additionally, the Toshiba 22AV600U also adheres to the Energy Star 3.0 requirements and so consumes less power.
