The KDL-40V2500 is a step up from previous years model but also isn’t the highest quality line Sony produces. This TV started out on the pricey side ($2500) but can e found at major electronics chains for around $1500-$1600. The KDL40V2500 is a great option because its definitely a higher quality set than some of the low-end brands but it also can be found at a pretty affordable price.

Overall, the Sony KDL-40V2500 is a pretty good buy. This particular model has been around for over a year. If you’re looking for a cutting edge, recently introduced HDTV, this may not be the one. But this HDTV has all the technology of new TV’s which tend to be very expensive when they are first introduced. Even though this model is a year old, you won’t have to replace it any time soon. It has the highest resolution available (1080p), enough HD Inputs and a superior picture to many LCD’s on the market today.
