Sony KDL-46EX700 Review: 46” LED LCD HDTV

Up for Review: Sony KDL-46EX700 LED LCD TV. It apparently looked like there would be no donuts for Sony’s other models when all the attention was fetched by the 3D TVs. The other models were over crowded by the demos at Sony’s stalls at the CES 2010. One of those models that can very well fit the bill for an average buyer who wants to buy a TV with a great picture and sound quality without bothering much about the 3D widgets is this model. The Sony KDL-46EX700 is a good mid sized model for replacing your old TV. One of the major deterrents is of course its higher price as unfortunately most of the Sony models are pretty expensive. And additionally, one may not notice any significant changes from the last models Sony released in the similar category. This model is also similar to another high-end series presented by Sony, the KDL-NX700 Series, sans the Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Sony KDL-46EX700 is among the 5 internet connected models launched under the KDL-EX700 Series. Its online features can actually attract those who are savvy with using the content streaming from the internet. But for those who do not really show interest in these features, it may just prove an expensive indulgence to buy this model. Sony however makes sure that it gets a hold on the quality aspects and fills in the gaps left out in the last year’s models. This means that this model doesn’t compromise on performance.

Loaded with the 1080p resolution and Motionflow technology, it provides clearer images and faster frame-rate of 120HZ technology. Also the Image Blur Reduction technology ensures a realistic and fluid viewing experience. The Bravia Internet video is an attraction for those who love to watch movies from online sources. You get the usual sources like Netflix, YouTube, Shacker etc. to stream videos.
