(Sony KDL-32EX300 Review: 32” LCD HDTV
Up for Review: Sony KDL-32EX300 LCD TV. It is difficult to understand why Sony has introduced such basic models in the market, unless it wants to completely close down the other basic models of the previous years and keep going with these new models. Consumers are plenty for the basic models too because not everyone is tech-savvy enough to appreciate the 3D technology or the Internet features. Besides, not everybody buys a TV to emphasize their financial status in the society. There are people also who want to watch the standard TV fare and want just good picture quality for their money.
Although the screen size is 32-inch, the manufacturer has tried to make it accessible to the people with low budgets for entertainment options by making the display resolution 720p. Since most of the programs shown on TV are in 720p, you will not have much problem in watching them. In fact, there is no use paying more for 1080p when the source programs are in 720p. It is only when you watch movies on Blu-ray disc players or play games on gaming consoles like the Playstation 3 that you feel the difference. But for a reasonable drop in price, it is a good idea to have 720p resolution.

The audio system of this TV is good too. For a 32-inch screen size, 20W power is sufficient to give you the right kind of sound you want in a closed room. This TV also provides you with simulated sound which can fill the entire room with sound from the TV. You can hear the conversation distinctly and the music will also entertain you without fail. Although this TV lacks most of the features of the high-end TVs, the sound is pretty much up to the mark and quite the same as the costly models.
Connectivity is good and you can attach your digital camera through the USB port to watch the photos on the big screen and in high definition. Quad HDMI is a big feature of this TV and you have the option to connect high definition devices like camcorders, Blu-ray disc players and gaming consoles to the TV. Furthermore, there is the Bravia Sync option which can control all these devices with a single remote. This feature keeps the living room free from unnecessary clutter. So if you want one of the latest TVs and also are interested in just the basic features, then this TV is just for you.
