Zach, how did you managed to Review a TV that was not on the market when you wrote your review? Also you are so full of it, based on your comments I can tell that you are not telling the truth, shame on you. I have the 55 inch XBR and 3D is just stunning, in my opinion better than in the Movie Theater.

Just received this TV and I couldn't be more impressed. The OptiContrast panel produces deep blacks. We have a lot of natural light in the room where this TV is set-up and the reflections from the screen and minimal due to the OptiContrast panel. The integrated WiFi was easily to connect to the wireless network in our house. 2D and cable programming was excellent, and bluray movies were stunning. The 3D is pretty good as well, though for optium viewing you have to be facing the screen directly. We love the monolith design as well. All in all we couldn't be happier with the set.

Thought that we we're getting the elite, top notch 3D TV. Learned quickly that we were duped by the Sony name and past satisfaction with their products. This TV looks great out of the box, very thin, black and sleek. The 2D picture is also very clear and vivid. However, the 3D is an absolute disgrace. Nothing pops out at you (like the Panasonic's) and the picture seems to be going inward rather than out of the TV. It flickers A LOT and causes a lot of eye strain and headaches. It makes it almost painful to watch, and not worth it due to the piss poor 3d "experience" to begin with. I could NEVER see myself watching a whole sports match or movie with this so called "3D" TV. Also, the glasses are incredibly uncomfortable. I am so disgraced with Sony for this RIPOFF TV I may never buy another Sony product again. My recommendation: Go with the Panasonic if you want to jump on the 3D ride now, stay far away from Sony's products and their ridiculous sticker prices. Sony, you've really gone downhill. Goodbye.
