Excellent picture quality and energy savings are two main features which make the Sharp LC52D65U a standout among bigger-screen LCD TV’s. With a manual power saving mode, you can save up to 10watts of power.

With seven picture control modes, you can easily and quickly adjust to what you are viewing. Connectivity is excellent in the Sharp LC52D65U, thanks to the 5 1080p HDMI inputs, two component-video, one RF antenna, one composite- and one S-Video input, one VGA-style PC, an analog stereo audio output and the optical digital audio output.

The LC52D65U lacks picture-in-picture (PIP) feature, but it has an option to freeze the onscreen image where you can write down a phone number or any other important brief info. Reviews show that compared to other LCD’s, the Sharp LC52D65U produces lighter blacks. Also the standard-definition processing is not as satisfactory.
