Sharp LC-32E67U Review: 32″ LCD HDTV
Up for review: Sharp LC-32E67U LCD TV. The new LC-32E67U LCD is part of Sharp’s newly launched AQUOS E Series LCD. Sharp has introduced a rich copper color accents at the bottom of the frame which gives the LCD an attractive outlook. Plus, the LCD comes with a convenient swivel stand.
Slated to be available in the market in February/March this year, the Sharp LC-32E67U doesn’t have many mind blowing features to offer. The E67U Series LCD doesn’t have built-in Blu-ray player like the popular BD Series of the same group. However, with a price of around $899.99, this 32” LCD has pretty standard features, which seem will not be a bad deal for the consumers. Overall, you get a solid, no frills TV at a good price.
The new LC-32E67U LCD has Sharp’s innovative Advanced Super View (ASV) Superlucent Panel anti-reflective technology, which as per Sharp’s claim will reduce the reflection and produce crisp image output containing pure whites, deeper blacks and a vivid range of color for Full HD 1080p content. This latest anti-reflective coating with its ultra-smooth finish will minimize image gloss and cut down reflection from the panel. And a fast pixel response time of 4ms is most likely to provide the ultimate medium for high-definition viewing especially of fast-action imagery.
Besides these, the Sharp LC-32E67U boasts another innovative energy saving feature called Optical Picture Control (OPC) technology, which adjusts luminance automatically according to the room lighting conditions.

The Sharp LC-32E67U LCD HDTV might have left out some of the high-end features you may or may not use, but when it comes to connectivity, it seems to have plenty of options with its 4 HDMI Inputs with 24p input capability and 2 Component video Inputs. All the Inputs also support 1080p high-definition content. Hence, starting from Blu-ray player, to advanced gaming consoles, every kind of HD content can be connected with ease. However, absence of an additional PC Input and RS-232C input (which were there in BD series) might be felt by some users. Also, Sharp is yet to provide any info about its audio quality, so no idea how good or bad audio output will be.
