The Samsung LN46A750 has Full 1080p HD display format containing 1920 x 1080 native resolution, which is the highest available currently. Hence image quality will naturally be superb. In addition, the new LCD is equipped with enhanced image interpolation technology i.e. Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz refresh rate to deliver smoother motion picture with stunning detail. With the InfoLink feature, the new Samsung LN46A750 offers free RSS feeds of news, weather and sports right to your HDTV via a built-in Ethernet port. The 4 HDMI 1.3 ports are compatible with any kind of external connectivity. It also has a Side-mounted USB 2.0 port which facilitates connectivity with USB devices. Hence, now you can watch MPEG movies, view JPEG photos or even listen to your MP3 player right on your HDTV.
As a bonus, Samsung has introduced 1GB of Internal flash memory containing pre-loaded interactive content such as games, other entertainment for children and cooking recipes in the new Samsung LN46A750. It also has a sports and game mode provision for gaming aficionados. The Integrated woofer delivers a blazing audio output. All in all, it’s a very good performance oriented LCD model.

Thinking of buying a Samsung HDTV? Don’t do it – unless you want a very large, expensive paper weight and like being tortured by “customer support” personnel. I purchased a Samsung 46” LCD HDTV and after two and a half years, it suffered a catastrophic “panel” failure, rendering the TV useless. The assessment of the repair shop to which Samsung directed me was that the cost of repair would exceed replacement its cost. Being beyond the Samsung one-year warranty period, the Samsung authorized repair shop could do nothing but suggest I contact Samsung for assistance in replacing the set given its young age and enormity of the repair. So I got in touch with Samsung’s “Executive Customer Relations” department (an oxymoron for a group of morons), who gave me the runaround for a month, promising call backs that were never (and I mean not once) made. I have finally given up, and by posting my story, hope to save you from a similar fate. Seriously – stay away from Samsung HDTVs. They are crap. And their customer support is worthless.
