Very disappointed with the quality of this TV and Samsung service. Within three weeks of purchase the power supply board is crapping out. Now unable to turn the TV on. Now told there is an ongoing problem with Samsung power supply boards for this model and parts are on back order. Taken 4 weeks to have a technician visit and determine the problem. Does anyone at Samsung reply to emails??? , apparently not.

5ms response time? rubbish! i have this TV but the EU version (LE40b530) and this is the slowest LCD tv ive ever seen, dark images stay on the screen longer than lighter parts of the image giving the image some very strange effects, even changes from one shot of movie to another shot (for example 2 people taking in the movie, camera flicking from one face to the other) can leave a very slight imprint of one face on the other for a split second. it improves as the set "warms up" but never completely goes, personally I would avoid samsung and go for a panasonic.. dark images ghosting/smearing kills this Tv for me sadly

Shame it isn't 120Hz! I miss absolute transparency when selling electronic products, specifically HDTVs, all that buzzword is there to confuse more than to clear things out.
1) real vs. dynamic contrast
2) color enhancer technologies
3) speed of refresh: 60Hz, 120Hz or 240Hz
4) response times 6ms, 5ms
... and many, many others, very confusing...
