Samsung LN40A750 Review: 40″ LCD HDTV

Up for review: Samsung LN40A750 LCD TV. The Samsung LN40A750 is superb in both features as well as performance aspects. It satisfies the true meaning of high definition television. Just like its other Series 6, the new Series & also incorporates Samsung’s innovative Touch of Color technology. As a result a rich red hue has been embedded into the otherwise black bezel. The Samsung LN40A750 is equipped with this Touch of Color (ToC) which creates a very unique looking HDTV that most people seem to enjoy so far.

Available with a price of around $1899.99, the new LN40A750 has many high-end features.  To begin with, a full HD 1080p including 1920 x 1080 pixels, The Samsung LN40A750 LCD TV delivers the highest video resolution available till now in market. Another innovative cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) technology in addition with a wide color enhancer facilitates color optimization. Dynamic contrast ratios of 50000:1, 16:9 image aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate make sure picture quality appear without any motion blur especially during fast action scenes. And a super-fast 6ms pixel-response time brings the smoothest and stunning image output.

The new Samsung LN40A750 is equipped with Samsung’s other innovative technology, Digital Natural Image engine (DNIe), to enhance the image quality further. No matter, what your input signal is, the LCD makes the best view. Although the color clarity is excellent in the new Samsung LN40A750, but the Picture-in-picture (PIP) feature is not easy to access especially with controller.

Equipped with SRS TruSurround XT™ along with the built-in dual 10W speakers and integrated woofer, the new LN40A750 produces a pretty good surround sound experience.  However, there is no subwoofer in rear panel to thicken the audio quality. Apart from these minor flaws, there seems to be no other performance issues in the latest Series 7 LCD model.
