Continuing our reviews of Samsung’s new line of LCD displays, dubbed the Series 4, our newest set is the Samsung LN32A330. With a maximum retail price of $749 MSRP, this 32-inch, 720p set improves upon the smaller models in the series with a 8,000:1 contrast ratio, much better brightness, and a response time of 6 ms, which makes it much more suitable for gaming and use as a PC monitor. The set comes in that familiar bezel-black finish that most Samsung models do, and looks much better than most other HDTVs when it comes to aesthetics. A quick peek at the features and specifications.

The LN32A330 is getting rave reviews from various sources. The unit is a little wobbly when used with a stand, but that should not cause much concern if you plan on wall mounting the display – which by the way is highly recommended, keeping in mind that the unit is only 3.2 inches deep. Picture was slightly grainy on regular television, but that is a given on large screen sizes. HD content, on the other hand was top-notch, as one would expect from a high-quality display such as this. The remote control was equally responsive and well-laid out. The device worked great when used as a PC monitor, and displayed picture slideshows and video without a hitch. The two included speakers also are a notch above the other models in the series, at 10 watts each. One minor qualm we had with this set was the lack of other tuner options beside NTSC. But apart from that, the Samsung LN32A330 is one of the best displays we’ve seen. Highly recommended!

YouReviewElectronics.com gives the Samsung LN32A330 LCD HDTV 9/10 stars!

I’ve just bought Tv Samsung LN32A330 and I think it’s the best HDTV for reasonable price . For example similar 32” product from LG cost ( in big electronic shop) almost 100 bucks more. I’m really pleased that these kind of equipement is so cheap everybody can afford it:)

I bought this Samsung model because I had a 15″ Samsung that lasted way beyond its years so I thought this would be a good buy for my money… and I have been extremely happy since my purchase over a week ago. I have to say the 8000:1 contrast ratio is superb… colors are superbly crisp and outstanding. I am using the LN32A330 at this very moment sitting about 5 feet back and it is amazing! I love this tv!
If I had anything negative to say about this tv is that there is no audio output for an external home theatre experience. I have read several reviews about the sound on this television being terrible, and I cannot say that I agree with that. I am very happy with this television in my room, used for TV, monitor, and gaming for PS3… two HDMI inputs have everything hooked up easily without any confusion.
And someone wrote on another site about the HDMI cables for these tvs. Don’t get suckered into buying a $100 cable, the ones for $24.99 at WalMart are just as good as those overpriced rip offs! An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable, and I think the price varies by length so keep an eye out for those cables before you get home and shake your fists at the sky.
