I own this tv and at first did not have an HD receiver. At first I was impressed by the quality of the picture and sound. After purchasing an HD receiver my eyes opened wide!! The colors are amazing…the deepest reds, blues, blacks i have seen and the picture and sound are crystal clear. For such an affordable flate sreen I am taken aback by the quality and viewing pleasure i have encountered.

THis tv is a peice of crap only 8 months old and now it will not turn on ether on the side or the remote also there is one section on the tv that is out a little green dot in the middle of what ever you watching. What a joke. Do not buy this tv if your looking for some to last because I was lucky and mine lasted 8 months. Some other person had the same problem it lasted 6 months.

I bought this television at Walmart last year (less then 12 months). It was great until one day I turned it on and only half the screen worked. The other half is just a blank white space….split right down the middle. At first, if I left it one for about 10 minutes or so the blank side would come back on. Now it doesn’t at all. And I have called and emailed Polaroid with little to no response. Looking for a tv repair shop next….should have bought a better brand I guess.

I bought this TV about three years ago and have had no problems. I use this TV about 8 hours a day no problem at all. I pick it because of the clear and sharp color and knowing Polaroid knows what there are doing with color. Reading some of the other reviews I glad I didn’t get a TV that was made on a Friday.

I bought a polaroid because of it’s name and price, stay away from their products. If you don’t beleieve me call their customer service before you buy. Tell them youyr warranty has expired and it won’t turn on. That’ll convince you. Get a sony or lg instead
