Check out this model if you want to enjoy sharp pictures from an ultra-thin TV! Due to its HDTV compatibility, the image display is significantly sharp and realistic in comparison to regular televisions. The 3:2 pull down feature of this TV is useful for transferring motion pictures to digital format – it reduces artifacts that can occur during the process.

Ideal for DVD movies recorded in the 16:9 formats, as well as high definition programming. Other than its rear connector location-which is a minus, this TV has great features for the money. However, if you are a HDTV perfectionist, the one and only aspect that might not impress you fully is that it has only rear connection location. But then, its sharp image quality makes up enhancing your viewing experience to the next level.
YouReviewElectronics.com gives the Polaroid 3211-TLXB 8/10 stars!

A year ago last August 28th we purchased a Polaroid 32″ HDTV w/ built-in DVD player. About 11 months later the DVD player quit working and then one year and eight or nine days after purchase the picture went out on the TV!

We called Polaroid and told them of the problem and really expected a fight because the warranty was for one year. Instead we were told to send them a copy of our purchase receipt and they would send the necessary part and have a technician contact us.

We did…..they did! In fact , the part arrived and that afternoon we were contacted by their service tech. Unfortunately, it was determined that the part did not fix the problem so they sent yet another one and again the tech came to the house. This did not remedy the problem either so, he got on the phone to Polaroid himself and this time we were told to ship the whole TV set to California and they would replace it with a new set.

Our new TV arrived today and it works just fine. I hope that there will be no more problems! I must say that we (my husband and I) are extremely impressed with the service and the courtesy given to us by Polaroid! It’s a pleasure in tis day and time to do business with a company that you don’t have to scream at to get them to stand behind their products!

We purchased a 37′ Polariod TV from Walmart. Exactly 14 months after we purchased it, it quit working. I was on the telephone with Polariod several times. We still do not have it working. I would not recommend a Polariod to anyone. They did not stand behind us at all.

I bought a 32″ Polaroid HDTV 16 months ago. Up until a few weeks ago, it was fine. It will no longer power up. It was flaky for a few days about turning on, but finally, nothing, even if unplugged for awhile. I don’t even feel that it is worth having this fixed. I should’ve followed my gut feeling that Polaroid is not known for its televisions.

I bought this tv at walmart 32” Winston Salem N.C. after 7 monts the problems started with the dvd player and then the tv stoped working. Do not recomend to buy this tv by no means. Spend just a few more dollars and get you a good brand tv.

We bought a polaroid 32″ hdtv with built in dvd player 5-07. The dve player worked a couple of times then quit. Then about a week after we had it for a year the screen went blank. They sent a control box twice but that didnt fix it. So they sent us another tv. At the time I thought wow what great customer service but now exactly a year later this tv stopped working. There is no more warranty. if we want it fixed its going to cost us $250. thats half the price we paid for it & it’ll only be warrantyed for 90 days. From reading the reviews its more than likely to go out again in a year. Thats just to much to pay for a tv every year. i’ll definitly noy be spending the money to fix nor will I buy another polaroid tv.

purchased Polaroid 32 inch LCD on 10/24/08- DVD controls starting being unresponsive first then lost the picture- black screen only- still has sound intermittently. At first was upset because warranty expired a few days before the problems started- BUT- looked at my receipt and found I had purchased the extended warranty! Best $59 bucks i ever spent!

Well it seem we all have experienced the same problems I purchased A 32 Inch w/built in dvd first the dvd went, they sent a new one and a tech came out to replace it next that dvd went out, every no and again when i turn it on its a black screen and you only hear sound. Now almost 2 years later the channel button on the remote or the tv does not work. What a disappointment…I purchased this from Walmart as well.

I’m with most everyone here. I also bought the 32″ LCD w/dvd player at Walmart a little over a year ago. The DVD went out 3 months ago, then the TV just up and shut off one night last month. It’s dead. Went to Walmart, they don’t carry the brand anymore because of this problem. Called Polaroid, after several calls, nothing. They said it would cost as much to fix as to buy another set. Ok, I’ll buy another flat screen, but it won’t be from them. They do not stand behind their products. Meanwhile, it sits in my closet because I can’t bear to throw a $550. tv in my trash cart. Inferior product from an inferior company.

Apparently polaroid has some flaws and defects it needs to fix, HEY POLAROID are you listening? I know you must be aware of this and maybe you have been fixing these problems this year and seriously TV’s do not just last 6 months and break.

Okay so I join the list of many that seem to have the same issue with this TV. Approx 8 months after buying the TV the DVD player quit working. Last week while my wife and daughter’s were watching a program the TV quit working. Less than to years old and I am told by the tech that it will cost me over two hundred dollars to have a part ship that MAY be the problem. If a car dealership had a known issue like this they would recall and fix the product for their customers. I will never buy a Polaroid product again

same problem as everyone i guess. this useless P.O.S. just keeps powering itself down when it receives a hdmi input signal. polaroid tried to high sell me on a power supply,200 bucks and change, but it appears to me that this is not the problem . it is located in the input component board . the hdmi signal itself seems to be triggering the shutdown .Anyway , one more household that will never buy anything bearing this brand EVER again.

Purchased 32 inch tv from Walmart in 2007. Suddenly one day about a year after purchased the DVD player did not work though EVERY time you turn it on, it pretends to attempt to work. Now October 30, 2010 we had the TV on it was working fine. Left the room and turned the tv off. Came back about an hour later and turned on the TV you could barely see the word poloroid even come on and there was a brief time of some brightness but within a minute the entire screen was black. Each time you turned it on it was the same thing. I called the number on the warranty paperwork knowing it was out of warranty. That number kept reporting it was disconnected. Used the Poloroid digital camera number and was able to get to the TV customer service area. After speaking to numerous cs reps who basically had me take most of the TV apart looking for some number on the TV that was not there. Then they determined which part I would need based off the color of the connections located in the power box (inside the TV after I removed it). I agreed to the 222 cost to get the part because of course it was out of warranty. They assured me the part would go out the next business day. I got confirmations in my email. They charged my debit card on 11/1/2010. There is a 100 refundable core deposit which they claim will be returned to me if I return the part at my cost to them within 30 days. After two weeks and no part, I called them to see where my part was. I got a very rude man named Eric who basically said they didn’t know what part to send me. They had apparently left some sort of message (probably using IP voiceover phone systems) we got some very quiet garbled message the day after they charged my account which we could not even tell was them-still aren’t sure. Eric claims they left us a message. Whatever. So here we are 11/13/10 and I have called to see where my part is. The warehouse is closed on Saturday. I tell him that shouldn’t matter because this was ordered and charged against my account two weeks ago. I want the tracking number to find out where my part is. He says he will check to see if the part went out and will speak to his supervisor. He comes back on the line and tells me the part is shipping out on Monday and should arrive in a week or so. Of course I go balistic and say what do you mean it hasn’t even gone out yet. His comment well we didn’t want to send the wrong part because then you would be dissatisfied-I said like I am now you mean. I tell him I want to speak to his supervisor. He tells me to hold. Then he comes back after I have been holding 5 minutes or so and tells me there is no supervisor there today. What do you mean, you verified with the supervisor that this part is shipping on Monday so how can you now say there is no supervisor. He says well what do you want me to do. I tell him I want the part shipped priority at their expense as I have been waiting over two weeks for a part promised in 7 to 10 days (according to Cheryl will likely arrive way before then). He tells me they cannot ship priority because they don’t have that kind of accound with UPS. I tell him that is bull and ask again to speak to the supervisor. He says oh you want to speak to the supervisor ok, I will get him. I hold 5 to 10 minutes longer. Eventually Eric comes back and says the supervisor is not available. She is on a call queue and he cannot transfer me. I am beyond furious now. I go around and around with him about his supervisor who he has told me was a guy, then a girl, then not in today, then on a call, then her call queue was full and he could not transfer my call. I tell him in no uncertain terms I want a call back. He says he will forward the message and the supervisor will get back to me when she is available. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK! To make this situation even more sick…we purchased a 19 inch poloroid tv for our daughter for her 19th birthday 1.5 years ago. It does not work will not power up and they have told her there is nothing they can do for her (it has been broken for nearly a year). Since she lives in another state I cannot handle this for her because no doubt the entire TV must be taken apart to find some part number that does not exist. The crap this Eric told me about the call queue is BS. I have been in charge of our phone team at work for 7 yrs. We have a call queue system and there are unlimited numbers of calls that can be placed into ANY call queue system. Plus at any given time there should be a supervisor available so even if he or she left another supervisor should have been available.

We have a 47 inch bought three years ago. The first one we had went black but still had sound (this was 3 months after buying it) traded it for another brand new one, it’s been fine up until now. All the dark colors have green squigglys in it. It’s nuts. Polaroid sucks and we will NEVER buy another product from them EVER.

Thanks polariod! You have made me realize that you can sell s**t and get by with it! I’m newly married with a two year old. Yeah your tv was cheaper and thought that it would be best to save the money for my sons needs! 4 months after warranty was out so was my disposable TV? From what I’ve read if you got at least 24months of it working you made a great purchase!WOW what guilty! Your no different than a thief, drug dealer or a con man! Just taking peoples money and not caring! And it will come back on you!I’m not referring to the common working man for polariod, but the million dollar bonus man. An walmart if you sell a product, stock them on your shelves you should back that product! Super K an Super Target, an Lowes I know they back what they sell!
