The sleek panel with over five inches in depth is an attractive model suitable to fit in bedrooms and smaller living rooms where space is often a problem. This 720p resolution HDTV has very clear and crisp picture quality with reasonably deep black levels and mostly accurate colors. Though the latest 1080p display format is absent here, features such as Panasonic’s sub-pixel controller helps reduce digital artifacts and produce a smoother picture quality. The digital comb filter of Panasonic TC-32LX85 takes care of the standard definition source material. One of the impressive features of the Panasonic TC-32LX85 is the A/V connections. With three HDMI inputs, you can attach all types of peripheral devices; starting form cable boxes to game consoles to Blu-ray players. There is even more, like the component video inputs, composite inputs and S-Video, along with digital audio output and the side the SD card slot. However, sources from 1080p are not acceptable via the HDMI inputs. Also there is no PC input.

The terrific picture quality of Panasonic TC-32LX85 is due to 3D color management and a whopping 8ms pixel response time. And the twin 10-watt built-in simulated surround sound speakers of this LCD model produce very robust sound. Even though the simulated surround sound doesn’t match a true home theater system, but for a smaller space the audio seems sufficient.
