We have a 37″ Olevia LCD TV. It has lasted for 3 years now. All of a sudden it will fade to black. It must be turned off/on to fix the problem. Its a daily problem. I am now trying to decide weather its worth fixing.

We purchased a 55″ Olevia LCD TV about Feb ’08. After one year the screen started cutting out, not the whole screen, but big chunks of it fade to black. Turning the tv off and back on is the only thing that fixes it. It happens about every other night.
There is a hum to the thing when it’s on. But that’s not surprising when you consider the size of the screen.

I purchased a 42 inch Olevia flat screen LCD TV that only lasted 2.5 years! To my amazment this seems to have outlasted many others. Technical support is non existant. I was told to ship my TV to California! ARE YOU KIDDING!! Nevevr ever again will I stray from the name brand TV manufacturers. I think OLevia should be reported to the attorny generals office!!!
