The Invisible speaker system of LG 47LG50 has not only added a richer, more balanced sound but also gave it a polished look. However the sound quality could be improved; LG 47LG50 reviews have shown that the volume fluctuates when you switch from HD viewing to standard content viewing.

There is ample source of connectivity options with three HDMI 1.3 ports which supports both uncompressed high-definition (HD) video and uncompressed multi-channel audio in all high definition formats including 720p and 1080i. You can view standard video, high-definition TV from cable, satellite, DVD, Blu-ray player with this HDMI input. You can even enjoy your PlayStation games or Bose sound system through this input. The USB jack enables you to view jpeg images and you can also listen to MP3 files. LG Simplink feature provides suitable control with other external products by using the existing HDMI connection.

YouReviewElectronics.com gives LG 47LG50 9/10 stars!

    LG Model – LG 47LG50
Love the look of the TV…but definitely a Sound Issue when going from Regular to HD TV. We were not sure if it was our Satellite Provider (Direct TV) or the TV. Now in reading some info about the TV it might be the TV. We have a few channels that we have to MAX out the Volume and it’s still not loud enough. We are not sure if we made the right decision to get an HD TV…as our other TV’s in the home work perfectly fine.
