Remember something, Plasma’s are a hundred times better than they use to be, and are the better bang for your buck. Their is much more value in plasmas than in LCDs. You need to purchase a LED (with local dimming, not edge-lit) LCD display to get close to what you achieve with plasmas. I really like the local-dimming LED backlit LCD displays, but check out how expensive they are. For much less, you can get the same, or even better specs, for hundreds less. Most people now write off plasmas, but if you do your homework and approach them with an open mind, you probably will find yourself buying one. I recommend the LG PK750 series.
Don’t just compare the Blacks/White’s and Colours.. Compare the MPEG Compression visible on the background. The Samsung UA40C6900 is the BEST Ive seem.
