LG 32LG40 Review: 32″ 1080p LCD TV
Up for review: the LG 32LG40. The all new LG 32LG40 is packed with all convenient features to provide you seamless HDTV viewing experience without any hassles. The standout feature of the 32LG40 is its built-in, slot-loading DVD player hidden nicely by the side of the TV set.
With extensive picture control options, you get nothing less than real-life image quality. However, the LCD lacks in producing a deeper shade of black. The 32” LCD TV is perfect for space limit dorms, condo rooms and even small living rooms. With a price of around $700, the LG 32LG40 is a well priced contender to other budget brands.
Along with seven different picture adjustment modes, the all new LG 32LG40 has two Expert modes with the first one responsible for comprehensive color temperature control and the second one fine tuning the primary and secondary color points. Other adjustment such as gamma and noise reduction can also be possible through this Expert mode.

With 3 HDMI inputs, a component-video input, a PC input, one AV input with composite and S-Video, an analog and optical digital audio output, connectivity is mostly comprehensive in the LG 32LG40. Some positive points about this LCD TV are its built-in DVD, sharp picture quality with better color contrast ratio and easier navigation through a TV frame controller feature.
Some people love the crimson highlighting but others prefer solid black or gray TV’s. Also the addition of some inputs on side panel would have been convenient for easy plug-in. The LG 32LG40 should definitely be considered if you’re looking for a 32” LCD HDTV on a limited budget.
