LG 32LD350 Review: 32” LCD HDTV

Up for Review: LG 32LD350 LCD TV. Sound understanding of requirements and preferences of diverse consumers works well for LG even in a highly competitive scenario. The 32 inch LCD model is one of those LG products that possesses reasonably good features and hence is likely to woo consumers who are looking for a smaller TV with quality features. The TV has been provided with 720p resolution that is pretty good for the size. Whether you watch movies or TV shows or any other program, the provided resolution will ensure good picture quality. The absence of 1080p will not cause much of a difference due to the smaller size of set. In fact some experts believe that 720p is the more natural fit than 1080p for smaller screens.

The model is also provided with the refresh rate of 60 Hz. This processing technology ensures the images displayed on the screen are quite distinct and there is no noticeable blurring or trailing of frames. Fast paced actions are expected to be free from unwanted disturbances that are often detected in regular TV sets. Considering other high end models that are coming with 240 and 480 Hz, the 60 Hz refresh rate may seem little inferior. However, the efficacy of 60 Hz in eliminating blurring effect will be determined by the feedback of the consumers.

LG 32LD350 Features and Specifications Review:

  • 32″ Widescreen
  • LED-Backlit LCD Display
  • 720p Native Resolution
  • 16:9 Image Aspect Ratio
  • 60Hz Refresh Rate

Featuring LED-Backlit LCD Display, the LG 32LD350 offers the benefit of enhanced picture quality in all types of lighting conditions. This is not all; the presence of this latest technology in the TV also acts as energy saver. So, now you can get all the entertainment at lesser electricity cost. Speaking about the look, the set is most likely to please the consumers. Designed to meet the taste of contemporary consumers, the product bears the hallmark of LG’s unsurpassed excellence. Featuring slim structure and glossy finish, the set is a good option for all those who wish to possess a smart entertainment box that not only entertains but also adds desired style to their home décor.

Though provided with quality features, the set definitely lags behind other LG higher end models. The absence of some of the latest technologies like NetCast entertainment option and WiFi Connectivity makes this TV unsuitable for all those who look for that ‘extra’ in their set which broadens their entertainment options. However, the ones who are willing to invest in a brand model that assures of quality performance, the LG 32LD350 is not bad option to go for.

I purchased this model for my parent and she was well pleased by it….it took me only about 2 minutes of configuring out the menus, which was easy to find your way through it. The colors, sound, graphics, lighting quality of this 32 incher is worth the money. I would definitely recommend this product and unit to someone else.

I purchased this LG model due to the dynamic contrast ratio (70,000 to 1), which presents a better picture at a comparable price as other “low end” models. I was disappointed that it didn’t have an analog audio out, except for a headphone jack. In fact, after testing the headphone jack, the TV would never return to the sets speakers…I took it back to the store, thinking to purchase another model (upset that the TV malfunctioned)….after looking for awhile, I was drawn back to the same model due to the picture…the new one works great.

I bought it and the stand was not put togeather right and I was unable to set up my new TV. Store was closed and after sitting on hold for 15 minutes plus I think I might be getting a differant brand TV.

Main problem is that there is no Audio OUT for my Digital Wireless Headphones. I am hard of hearing and NEED these. They hooked up to Audio OUT on our old Analog TV. There is NO Audio OUT on this TV. There is a headphone hookup terminal, but then the others in the room can’t hear the TV. Does anyone know if there is some adapter or anyway I can use my headphones on this model?? Otherwise, I’ll have to return it!!!!!!!

Well, this item arrived DOA. When I contacted LG, they said they couldn’t locate a repair facility in my area, and that it would take 3 to 5 days to find someone to repair it. They also said that if they couldn’t find anyone to repair it, they would issue a replacement. Well the five days came and went, and when I called LG they said “the other person was wrong, it is really 5-7 days. Well, again, the 7 days came and went without any word from LG. I have been without a brand new TV for over 2 weeks and LG doesn’t do anything about it. This is by far the worst customer service I have EVER received from a vendor. I strongly urge you to consider a TV with better customer support. I still can’t believe that a DOA item hasn’t been fixed or replaced 3 weeks after it arrived….Amazing.
