LG 26LG30 Review: 26” 720p LCD HDTVLG 26LG30 review

Up for review: the LG 26LG30 LCD HDTV. The 26LG30 has almost all the features of a larger LG HDTV, except that it is smaller and low-priced. The sleek black color and the invisible speakers present a compact and stylish look. The sound effect is enhanced by mounting it on a wall. This is because the sound from the speakers embedded in the front cabinet gets reflected from the walls, and lends a better audio effect.

The 26LG30 includes 3 AV modes. The viewer is allowed the discretion to watch “Sports”, “Cinema” and “Games” with the required picture and sound settings. A single button on the remote control can toggle between the different modes. The remote is nicely designed to support all the necessary options. The viewer can opt for setting his favorite channels too.

Clear Voice technology takes care of the human range of sound. A person’s voice is clearly audible above the background noise. The SimpLink connectivity gives access to other compatible products using the HDMI feature.
