LG 22LE5300 Review: 22” LED HDTV
Up for Review: LG 22LE5300 LED TV. If you have been wondering to gift your kids with an LED TV, then the LG 22LE5300 is a model that you can look out for. Unveiled at the popular electronic fair CES 2010, this HDTV is for those who do not want to buy a big TV and still want some high end cool features. The basic feature that one looks for in a good branded TV is excellent picture and sound quality. Additionally, one also looks for it being compatible to the latest multi-media devices so that unlimited content can be streamed to the TV screen. A good buy is one that can work well with your present home entertainment scenario rather than having to replace entertainment devices like your DVD player or gaming system. So, going along the popular technology helps when you don’t want to invest in everything anew. LG 22LE5300 is one such model that can get along well with your existing devices and provide you with decent quality picture and sound.
With the 720p resolution in place, you can rest assured that this set would provide you with amazing picture clarity. The progressive technology incorporated in this HDTV is compatible to most of the modern gadgets like the DVD or Blu-ray devices. Though in comparison to the other high-end models launched by LG which boast of 1080p technology, the smaller screen sizes generally come with 720p resolution. LG, however, brings in the widescreen LCD backlit display to let you get the best TV watching experience in almost any lighting conditions. Its small size is good for an average sized room but if you are looking at a bigger living room, you may opt for a 32 inches or higher screen size.
LG 22LE5300 Features and Specifications Review:
- 22″ Widescreen LED-Backlit LCD Display
- 720p Native Resolution
- 16:9 Image Aspect Ratio
- 60Hz Refresh Rate
LG 22LE5300 comes with 60Hz Refresh Rate that helps to reduce blurring of images and you get excellent viewing experience even with fast action sequences. Aesthetically, LG products are trendy and so is this one. With a shiny black body and thin bezel, it looks quite chic and as it is a 22 inches screen, you can also place it on a wall mount as well as a table top. The 16:9 image aspect ratio ensures that there is no image shredding and you get in-depth picture clarity with naturally fine colors and hues.
This particular model is also an energy efficient HDTV that would save electricity as you watch TV for hours. This model is expected to hit the market world wide in the first quarter of 2010 along with LG’s some very techy models that won several awards in CES. This is a fair enough model for those who wish to invest in a branded model with good imaging and content streaming capability.
