The Insignia NS-LCD26 is a 26 inch LCD flat panel display that can be used for both PC use and regular television viewing. The NSLCD26 has 720p resolution so you can receive HD programming when connected to an HD source like cable or satellite. A review of the NS-LCD26 is similar to the review of the NS-LCD32 and NS-LCD37. These HDTV’s are in the same line and have similar features. One main difference between the NSLCD26 and the other two LCD HDTV’s in the contrast ratio. The NS-LCD26 has 800:1 whereas the other two have a slightly better 1000:1. With a smaller TV, this is not as noticeable but is still something to consider. Finding the NSLCD26 on sale makes it one of the better budget HDTV’s on the market.
YouReviewElectronics.com gives the NS-LCD26 8/10 stars!

This television is absolute junk. Spend a little more money and get a name brand TV.
I’m fine with it – great performer and picture/sound for the money paid. I’d say if you’re not happy with it you at least got what you paid for and possibly a little more so.
I have had my tv for about 2 years now. It’s works fine for what it is and it hasn’t given me any problems. Not bad if you’re on a budget.
I got this TV around 3 years ago or so, and its been a great experience. It’s definitely not the “best”, but price was a big factor for me. For the money, I couldn’t be happier. HD channels look great. DVD’s look great. Works great when I play my XBOX360. The only negative is that the picture lacks clarity when using regular cable channels. My friends Vizio looks great in HD and regular cable, mine does not. Maybe it’s because it is 720p instead of the more desirable 1080p?
I got my tv in 07 it worked fine for 2 1/2 years now its junk it quit working
