Panasonic TC-32LX14 Review – 32-inch LCD HDTV

Panasonic TC-32LX14 Review: 32” LCD HDTV

Up for review: Panasonic TC-32LX14 LCD TV.  Panasonic introduced the Panasonic TC-32LX14 as an entry into the club market. This HDTV is ideal for office, bedroom and any other small room. A review shows that the 178 degree viewing angle is adequate for viewing from any angle in the room. You will not be required to sit directly in front of the HDTV to see the images clearly. Even if you are sitting at an odd angle, you can still view the images without much blurring or color fading.

The VIERA Image Viewer in the Panasonic TC-32LX14 is good enough to view photos taken from a digital camera. This feature allows you to take the SD memory card from the camera and insert it into the SD card slot. Whatever photos you want to share with your family can be shown on the HDTV. The VIERA Image Viewer is an easy way to share your memories.

Panasonic TC-P54Z1 Review – 54-inch Plasma HDTV

Panasonic TC-P54Z1 Review: 54” Plasma HDTV

Up for review: Panasonic TC-P54Z1 plasma TV.  Plasma HDTV has received a new impetus with the announcement of the Panasonic TC-P54Z1. This is a brand new HDTV from Panasonic which has all the latest technologies. However, the feature which stands out is the slimness of the TV. A review shows that this HDTV is just 1” deep. It stands like a glossy mirror, supported by a triangular stand. The front panel is a vision in silver and black.

The Panasonic TC-P54Z1 is almost completely wireless excepting for the power cord. This makes it ideal to be mounted on the wall. The HDTV connects wirelessly to a box which handles all the inputs to the TV. However, Panasonic has not camouflaged the speakers but has placed them on the two sides of the front panel. But there are no ports on the TV. This part is taken care of by the separate box. The back is completely featureless.

The Panasonic TC-P54Z1 has a resolution of 1080p and an aspect ratio of 16:9. These are the standard requirements of any quality HDTV, which are also present in this set. It has an impressive contrast ratio of 40,000:1. This ensures enhanced black as well as white levels. Ghosting is also expected to be absent in this HDTV. A review suggests that judder has been done away with.

Panasonic TC-P42S1 Review – 42-inch Plasma HDTV

Panasonic TC-P42S1 Review: 42” Plasma HDTV

Up for review: Panasonic TC-P42S1 review.  With the introduction of the Panasonic TC-P42S1 in the market, Panasonic aims to conquer the niche consumers who want more value for money. They will be satisfied with the minimal new features and at the same time compromise by not getting the best technology of the better models, in order to save money. The Panasonic TC-P42S1 provides some of the innovative features of the 2009 line and 1080p resolution but also does not integrate other key features.

A review shows that the Neo PDP panel in the Panasonic TC-P42S1 displays improved blacks and a contrast ratio of 40,000:1. The panel is a proof of advances in new drive technology, process technology and cell structure. And as an addition, these panels save a lot of power without weakening the contrast. The screen is thin and has a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. This means that half the brightness is lost after almost 30 years of viewing.

Panasonic TC-P46S1 Review – 46-inch Plasma HDTV

Panasonic TC-P46S1 Review: 46” Plasma HDTV

Up for review: Panasonic TC-P46S1 plasma TV.  The Panasonic TC-P46S1 is a relatively cheaper model from Panasonic, which has the latest Neo PDP plasma panel. This panel is responsible for the higher quality of pictures and the heightened contrast ratio. It is also a promoter of low power consumption, thereby making its position stronger in the industry. It has become a standard norm for all HDTV companies to promote products requiring less power for its functioning.

A review of the Panasonic TC-P46S1 shows that the picture quality is unparalleled by any other HDTV of its competitors. The black levels are sufficiently improved. The Panasonic TC-P46S1 behaves as if it has shut down during perfectly dark scenes. The color however, is in need of serious improvement. The edges of the screen do not show perfect color.

The design of the Panasonic TC-P46S1 has hardly changed much from its previous models. There is perhaps an absence of sharp edges only. The speakers are hidden from view and are camouflaged underneath the panel. The glossy black bezel looks appealing which merges with silver color towards the bottom of the panel. A big power button blends nicely with the smooth bezel. The absence of swivel capability is a great put-off. The HDTV can be placed in one orientation only.

Panasonic TC-P50S1 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

Panasonic TC-P50S1 Review: 50” Plasma HDTV

Up for review: Panasonic TC-P50S1 plasma TV.  Panasonic brings the latest technology to town by the introduction of the Neo-PDP panel for a rapid decline in power consumption. The black levels are impressively better with a greater contrast ratio of 40,000:1 as well. The Neo PDP panel brings improvements in cell structure, new drive technology and process technology. It is engineered to consume less power but with no compromise in the brightness levels. A review shows that although the HDTV itself is not very thin, Panasonic TC-P50S1 makes up with the panel structure. It is very thin; much thinner than most plasma panels.

The Neo PDP panel in the Panasonic TC-P50S1 can last up to 100,000 hours. Even if you watch your HDTV for 8 hours a day, it will still last you 30 years. The resolution is a good 1080p with 600 Hz sub-field drive. It also has a Gaming mode.

It is important for HDTVs to function at full-HD resolution of 1080p. The Panasonic TC-P50S1 is very particular about this. This feature is brought to the fore during action scenes both in sports and movies.
