Up for Review: Samsung LN40B630 LCD TV. This TV is just of the right size to keep in a living room. Without seeming to be imposing, it is sufficiently large to bring a personal satisfaction. With a Touch of Color, the Samsung LN40B630 is quite stunning in its looks. The subtle red tint at the edges lends a classic beauty to the set. Looking like a work of art, it sits artfully on the swivel stand which can be adjusted at any angle. Although there is nothing different in the piano black bezel other than the red tint, it does manage to look quite superior to the other TVs from the competitive brands. And the 1080p resolution accounts for the very good picture quality as well. Read the rest of the Samsung LN40B630 Review – 40-inch LCD HDTV >>>
Up for Review: Samsung LN22B360 LCD TV. This HDTV is one from the smaller-display segment. The 22-inch screen can be kept in smaller rooms like the kitchen or office room. Even small bedrooms look good with this TV. Since everyone now wants everything matching the ambiance of a room, Samsung has certainly taken care of this aspect by making the TV visually impressive. It also has the option of being mounted on the walls. The depth not being much, it looks like a moving wall hanging. However, we still have to wait for all the TVs to be wireless to get a clutter-free look on the walls.
Like all Samsung HDTVs, this too has a very impressive contrast ratio of 15,000:1. The black levels are good with darker blacks and crisper whites. This makes the pictures still more natural, helped along with the Wide Color Enhancer2 and CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp). The natural shades accentuate the tone of every pixel in the images. This great picture quality is further emphasized by the 720p resolution. This resolution is perfect for the size of the TV. Since most of the programs telecast on TV are in 720p, you will have no problem watching them. But there may be some problems while watching movies on the Blu-ray disc player. Up for Review: Samsung LN26B360 LCD TV. This is a more low-key model from Samsung having all the basic features introduced in the newer models, but lacking a few of the technological advancements of the other models. The first major difference is the 720p resolution. Although 720p suffices for most programs telecast on TV, 1080p certainly holds a special charm. But with this resolution, the price is greatly reduced. This is a great attraction for the consumers who will certainly be glad with a TV having all the glamorous features intact but for a much lower price.
The dynamic contrast ratio is still at its best with 30,000:1. All the images with pixels forming both light and dark patches are well represented because of this enhanced contrast ratio. This contrast ratio is ably supported by the beautiful color spectrum. With Wide Color Enhancer2 and CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) technology, the picture quality is greatly improved providing beautiful images which seem very natural to the eyes. Every single shade can be identified in all the scenes. And because of this enhanced picture quality, the built-in HDTV tuner is able to provide attractive images in spite of the 720p resolution. Up for Review: Samsung LN37B650T1F LCD TV. If you are a gaming buff, then this HDTV is just right for you. With Ultrafast 5 ms response time and Auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, all the video games come alive with a total absence of blurring. All the fast action sequences can also be viewed in complete clarity with no lagging behind of pixels. The corresponding picture obtained on the TV is also of high quality. The 1080p resolution aids in this process. All the digital quality images include progressive scan and thus help to subscribe to the high quality standards set by Samsung.
The design of the TV is also quite pleasant. It includes an Ultra Clear Panel which reduces the glare without hampering the inherent brightness of the screen. Both the horizontal and vertical viewing angles are decently placed at 178 degrees which makes sure that a person sitting a little away from the TV also gets a great view. There is no washing out of the colors at the edges. The same can be said about the audio too. It can be heard distinctly in any part of the room. This is because of the 2 built-in down-firing speakers. The SRS TruSurround HD sound feature makes sure that the sound is audible in every part of the room.
